I have used a different manufacturer of muffs my whole career as a referee in the International shooting disciplines of Olympic Trap And Olympic skeet. This was the first time I used Axil ear muffs and to say I was blown away is an under statement. The comfort of Axil muffs were exceptionally beyond my imagination. I wore them for 8 to 10 hours a day off and on between rounds with no sore spots or tenderness from wearing Axil muffs 8 out of the ten days I refereed. The other two days I let some of my associates try them and they also were very sold on them.
As a referees you often hear complaints about muffs squeezing their head but this never happened with the Axil muffs. The usual tenderness one gets from wearing muffs for an extended amount of time is a thing of the past with Axil muffs.

The headset looks sleek, and is just as bit of comfortable on the head. The sound canceling works very well, and the sound clarity is crisp. Almost “stuck in tin can” crisp.
I do have 2 gripes.
1st - I did find that using the power and volume buttons is tad on the annoying side. You have to really push the buttons to get them to function. They really don’t need to be that difficult.
2nd - If you place your hand over where the microphone is, you get a lot of high pitched feedback through the speaker. That can be uncomfortable if you’re on a live range and can’t adjust it.

I bought 2 pair one for myself and the other pair for my wife whe I received the first pair I was checking them out and the buttons are so hard to push I sent a message asking if that was normal and I received an AI message saying that was normal a few days later when I received my wife’s and checked the buttons on hers they were much easier to use. I went to a he range just a couple days ago to use mine for the first time and it’s almost impossible to control the buttons while they are on my head I had to go outside the range to adjust and go back in other wise this would be a 5star review

Something that works would be nice. The on/off button is difficult to use for elderly hands, and the volume controls do not work. It fit extremely tight on my head which is not necessarily a bad thing.
This was a huge waste of money because I do not expect anything to be done about it.

Excellent upgrade to the Trackrs, especially with the product design. I love the minimal look. Like others have said, the buttons aren't as easy to press but they do work and feel durable. Once you get the hang of it, it's all good. The ease of button-press is the only thing needing fixing. Other than that, works well and looks good. All of my ear pro is Axil. I have 2 of the MXs and 2 Trackrs.
