I just returned from a trip to NM to shoot guns for a week at Whittington Center. These were great to use for the rifles and pistol. I love that there is not a big cord hanging behind my neck, and my ears didn't hurt like they do with the headsets. I definitely recommend these!

I was really excited to find a set of electronic noise suppression. I work in a manufacturing setting. The noise level is 85- 95 db. Almost every function met my expectations. The only one I would consider a fail would be the the sound of a persons voice sounded like talking between two soup cans through a string. Yes, I did try the levels of suppression. Tried every possible setting. Everything else met every manufacturer claim. I will be buying my second pair . :-)

Excellent product. Only downside is when around heavy diesel engines, it muddles the Bluetooth music

They work great , in fact better then my hearing aids for amplifying sound and a great job at blocking loud sounds.

Work better than expected. Use them for hog hunting from a box blind. I can leave them in enhanced hearing mode and hear all the sounds in the woods and there is no need to position ear pro before firing the rifle.

Uncomfortable and doesn't stay in the ear well.

I work in a extremely noisy and dusty environment from time to time. I was surely surprised with the axle hearing protection. I could listen to my music, take a phone call or just listen to my colleagues

One of my favorite features is the fact that if one falls out of your ear, it does not fall on the ground and get lost. I have had earbuds fall out of my ear and tall into a 5 gallon bucket of paint. Luckily, I sprayed it off and it worked after letting it dry for quite some time, but, basically I thought I would not like the buds with the wire between the two earpieces and was completely shocked to find out. I loved them. Best part is that if you are a wing shooter like me and want to protect your eardrums, which as I got older, I didn’t because I am a musician as well. They come with earplugs that can actually squish into your ear canal and you can still hear music while blocking out the sound of a shotgun right by your ear. If that is not impressive I don’t know what is. You can’t have a favorite feature section and not have a cons section. No I’m making one. Cons: 1: Rule number one of Survey Club is you don’t make a survey without a pros and cons section. You are instructing every one of your customers to write their favorite things and basically persuading them to not talk about things you guys could improve on. improvement is made by failure. We learn from it and don’t make the mistake again. How can we know what we did wrong if no one tells us. 2: They can get frustrating to take on and off if somebody just wants to say a couple words to you, but you get used to it. This is mainly due to the ear angle. I imagine that they were trying to mimic some sort of angle that the AirPods have, but they kind of failed by about 5°. Once again, not an issue once you get used to it and even less of an issue if you don’t loop them around your ear, but I feel like this is the way it is supposed to be done so I loop it around my ear. All in all, it’s a 9.3-10. The ones that my employees stole which lasted 40 to 60 hours without charge or by far my favorite and easily got a 10-10. Battery life is what it’s all about these days. Thanks for making such a great product guys.

Only used them for a week before the charging port stopped working. Not worth it.

It’s very comfortable. Head and ears feels cooler as compared to using ear muffs. I can wear a full brined boonie style hat. Better when shooting a rifle, I can get myself tight against the stock. Not so good indoors. I still prefer ear muffs when shooting inside.

These things are awesome! Wish I'd made the leap into electronic hearing protecting years ago. Enhances sounds around me and only blocks the bad stuff. I can actually hear the steel plates ring better and converse with other people nearby. Comfortable enough to wear ALL DAY at the range. Even at the racetrack I've found them useful. Wow! (Wish I had a better photo, but it was 101 degrees that day. Worked great! )

took to the range and they did exactly what they were suppose to do.I was able to shoot and have the noise dampened and was able to hear clearly when someone was talking.

Great pair of protection! Especially on a super hot day, this was way better than a pair of headphones. Comfortable and freeing. Bonus is you can Bluetooth them to your phone. Will highly recommend if I get ask what to get.

I absolutely love these. I normally have to wear earplugs plus the muffs which are very bulky so I love that I can just wear these and they give me the hearing protection that I need!!

Don’t care for them. Don’t stay in my ears well or work quite as expected.

Best ones yet, highly recommend for any shooter, makes it easy to listen to instructions and fire without the worry of creating that ringing in the ears.

They work extremely well for things other than shooting as well. Having them for construction sites is very nice. Being able to control the background noise is very handy.

I like how they are lightweight and comfortable. As a firearms instructor for my agency the ear muffs put a lot of pressure on the side of my head. Makes for really long days at the range. But the AXIL 2.0 is almost like they aren’t even there. The protection it gives around the rifles is very impressive. I saw the Christmas in July offer and jumped on it. Excellent product. The clip in the middle of the wire to keep the wire close to my neck. Great idea!!!

Shooting outdoors on a hot day gets a little sweaty and uncomfortable with over the head ear protection, so I switched to the Sig earbuds and no more issues. Keep them on low though as they are extremely good at picking up voices while deadening the gun shots.

Extremely comfortable, the stay out of the way and the noise canceling capability is superior. Could not be happier with this purchase.

Love these ear buds! Definitely worth the money.

Comfort

These work as promised. Calls are crystal clear on both sides of the call. A little tricky getting buds conform and over the ear BUT after they’re in place properly, they really stay sealed nicely. I’d even say they work so well it’s hard sometimes to tell they’re working. But they do work however you have them set-up for noise control. Anyway, two thumbs up.

I always wondered why people spent $100+ on electronic earplugs instead of using the cheap disposable ones until I got these ! They work amazing ! I no longer have trouble hearing anyone talking at the range while keeping my plugs in ! I’ve taken them on every range trip so far and even started using them at work as well . 10/10 would recommend!

First trip to the range I knew I had made a good choice. Plus when I now mow I can listen to my tunes

the GS extreme 2.0 work well, but the lanyard is too short for comfortable wear,hard to adjust volume and on and off. Do you make longer ones? thanks keith kastner

Hearing enhancement

Silencing the sound, don’t know if they are as good as regular headphones sound protection. Very similar to Apple earbuds in regards to this feature.

I can't stand how the earmuff style hearing protection gets in the way when checking up on the stock, I was so happy with how my in-ear AXIL Extremes don't get in the way and are super comfy. I was actually listening to a podcast while shooting, still able to have conversations, all while feeling like my hearing is very well protected.

So far they seem to work pretty well. Haven't gotten them to the range yet for the real test. But my only complaint so far is that the foam on the ear buds expands way too fast. Makes it difficult to get them all the way in.

They are crystal clear in Bluetooth mode. They instantly protect when weapons are fired! Amazing technology!

I was able to try out the GS extreme for the first time with some large caliber rounds and they worked really well. we shot for around 4 hours and it didn't seem to stimulate my tinnitus at all. Wow!

It is light and I can reach the controls well after getting the plugs in the ears. I use the earbuds for airsho’s working with Pyro for war reenactments. Having a little trouble using the hi noise stoppers. Can’t seem to get them to stay in. Went down on size and it got better. My glasses may be causing part of the problem. Going to do another show in a couple of weeks. Will tweak things a little there. We use high explosive materials with jets flying down low so it will be very loud. In the ears they are very good.

Excellent customer service. We had a hiccup with the freight because I put the wrong address down and they were delivered to the wrong place due to my mistake. They still sent out a new set to me at no additional charge. The sound quality is great, and the hearing protection as well for things such as heavy equipment noise. I have not taken them to the range yet, but with what I have experienced so far, I have high confidence.

I purchased these to use in an automotive dealership service department. I work in a noisy shop but also have to talk to customers and talk on the phone during the day. Regular hearing protection proved too inconvenient constantly moving from high to low noise environment's so I gave these a shot. It is one of the few technology based purchases I have made that has exceeded all expectations. There is no hype it is all fact these things work and work excellent. Unbelievable if you a shooter at the range or Hunter you need a pair of these , I’ve used them for both truly incredible what you can hear in the woods with these on . They are comfortable and I had them on for 8 hours without a charge . Highly recommend .

This is my second set. I had a previous version of the AXIL ear pods. I received these a bit ago. I like them because they are comfortable and don’t restrict wearing a brimmed hat, like Walker headphones do (my backup). I am a Range Safety Officer so I end up wearing them for up to 8 hours per day. I occasionally get halfway home before I remember I have them in. I also shoot rifles quite a bit and I don’t have to worry about hitting them with the stock when aiming.

The ear buds do a great job of noise cancelling while shooting. The quality of sound you get in that mode though is disappointing. You can hear people talking but that's about it. I was hoping to be able to use these while hunting as I have tinnitus and have noticed over the years that I haven't been able to hear the deer move in the woods like I used to. When using the sound amplification mode it sounds like you are listening through a tin can. Bluetooth music sounds okay. I was hoping for more but these will work for shooting or driving the tractor.

I bought these as a birthday gift for my son. He loves them!

I can hear everything from my music to the birds chirping and when I shoot nothing. No ears ringing. Highly recommend

Fits great and very easy to use

I like the fit. The Bluetooth is a great feature, the left side though the ambient sound doesn't turn off. It turns down but not off. At the range today it wasn't quite enough protection and that was in the pistol only side indoors. So the look good, fit good, but for the range I'm on the fence with that.

Nice sound, hard to fit even using smallest inserts

I work out in the field for telecommunications company, there are times when I’m working high loft on some telephone poles. I do like to hear my music, but I do have to be aware of my surroundings. Like if someone was to get a hold of me when I’m up on a poll. And there are times that there’s a lot of traffic underneath me. These work great in any situation. It keeps me not bored when I’m listening to music plus gives me aware of what’s going on around me at the same time, and it knocks out any loud sounds that are underneath me or around me. Plus they look cool.

I take these tot he Gun Range all the time. Everyone knows they do great. You can have conversations and hear the rangemaster and the sound is dampened when a gun is fired. This past weekend I took them to the Race track. I was assigned to the Media crew as a photographer. I was able to listen to the live broadcast on the Bluetooth and keep track of what was happening on the track all while protecting my hearing from the loud cars. This was a great side bonus to the product I bought specifically for the range. Thanks!

I don't have enough patience to use these. Ear muffs are much easier to use and stay in place better when you move around.

I've had my new ear buds for a couple weeks and really love the ease of operation and the fitment, no more worrying about my ear buds falling out!

noise reduction for working in the shop is great! cuts out loud background noise but i can still have conversations face to face without any trouble hearing

Works great and is comfortable. The Bluetooth feature is also well designed so the sound quality is better than expected. Sound suppression keeps your hearing protected as advertised. Ear pieces must be placed in ear correctly for all the features to perform at optimal levels.

Very effective at attenuating sudden loud noises while simultaneously boosting hearing capabilities. Also works great as simple Bluetooth earbuds for use with your phone or other audio device. Battery life is great for lightweight earbuds. Like all earbuds, getting the right fit can be tricky but I think with the various sized earpieces included most everyone should find a combination that is comfortable. Overall a good value for the capabilities.

Offer great protection no matter what I shoot...its awesome that I can also have a conversation with my shooting buddies! I'm really looking forward to them this summer - no more sweaty ears because of traditional hearing protection!!

I work at a surface mine and the nature of my work can be loud at times. Due to the monotony of a 12 hour shift, I listen to a lot of podcasts and audiobooks through earbuds while I'm operating to pass the time easier. The problem with regular earbuds is that I need to be able to hear my supervisor and co-workers over the radio when they need something or make changes I need to be aware of. This product is outstanding and works perfectly for me because I need a hands-free device to be able to answer the phone, hear what's going on around me, and be able to enjoy my podcasts while I work. The hearing protection is a plus as well. I also do some shooting on my off time, so the investment in this product just made sense to me from the get go. I'm really pleased with with this purchase and have recommended it to my friends and coworkers. The battery life is adequate, but these would be perfect if they lasted the whole 12 hour shift on one charge...would be the only improvement I can think of. Thank you axile for a fine product!

I bought these to use as hearing protection in a industrial setting. The ability to adjust sounds that I do want to hear while still having hearing protection is awesome. Normal hearing protection is either on or off. Great product.

Good noise reduction with the right fit. Quality sound. Blue tooth works well. A little bit longer would help

I am a Range Safety Officer at a local pistol & rifle facility in South Carolina. The percussion of both handgun and long guns can become extreme on busy Saturdays. Earmuff style hearing protection in the humid days of early spring through late fall causes extreme sweating and discomfort. The AXIL GS 2.0 Extreme protects without sweating, allows conversations with shooters and has a long battery life and quick overnight recharge.

Love the noise canceling circuit! Works great at LOUD concerts, even in small venues! The external mics pick up sounds with amazing clarity, and work great when playing along with music tracks

These are a triple threat! Noise cancelling is excellent. Sound enhancement is great. Bluetooth is great!
